There was a very close bond between Dr. Allen (EBA) and Joseph. Crown. (Joseph Henry Crown, Sr born Sept 15, 1839. Married to Mary Elizabeth Mahorney and later to Mary Frances Grubb. Believe it had to do with EBA and his Civil War service with the Fredericksburg Artillery. I believe Joseph helped EBA after EBA's fathers houses were partially destroyed by Yankee forces while trying to defeat Confederate forces in Dec 1862. Susie attended Joseph after his fatal accident due to his runaway horse and wagon. Details are covered by the
