James Ahern, dearly beloved husband of Johanna (Cox) Ahern, loving father of William Ahern of Rodeo, Francis Ahern of Crockett, Mrs. Dell Ahern of San Francisco, Miss Mary, Nora, and Anna Ahern of Port Costa and the late Nora, Robert and James Ahern; a native of Ballylline, Ballylongford, County Kerry, Ireland, aged 79 years 5 months 7 days. A member of St. Patrick’s Church, Port Costa, Vallejo Council No. 874, K. of C., Cardinal Gibbons Council, Y.M.I. of Pinole, and the F.O.E. of Martinez.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral services Monday June 26, 1950, at 9:30 a.m., from Ryan Chapel, 1212 Wanda St., Crockett, thence to St. Patrick’s Church, where a Requiem High Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul, commencing at 10 a.m. interment, St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Vallejo, of Rosary tonight, commencing at 8 p.m.
