Hazel enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies included fishing the "HA-HA" (Hazel Anderson-Helen Artley) drops, crabbing, and sitting on her dock enjoying the beautiful sunsets on Moon River. She was a faithful Christian and a 59 year member of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church.
Surviving is one son, Raymond E. Anderson (Wilma) of LaGrange, GA, a daughter, Phala M. Anderson, Orange Park, FL and one sister Dorothy Arnold, Jackson, MS. She had 6 grand children, 9 great grand children, and 2 great, great grand children.
Hazel was predeceased in death by her husband Douglas R. Anderson, her son Douglas L. (Pete) Anderson, a brother A. G., and four sisters Helen, Ruby, Mary, and Edna.
A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 23, 2015 at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park. Remembrances may be made to Isle of Hope United Methodist Church.
