Carl F. Lynch served as a soldier in WWII in the ETO. He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of California Berkeley, after attending Purdue Indiana and University of Cincinnati.
He spent 30 years in engineering working at East Bay municipal Utility District, City of Hayward, and City of Napa as City Engineer and the Napa Sanitation District as Engineer – Manager. He retired from the District in 1982 and traveled and wrote a newspaper column on the environment. He was also a Contractor constructing homes in the Napa area.
He married Dolores Belasco Romero on Sept 2, 1950, and three sons and a daughter were born of this marriage.
The daughter died during infancy, the sons, Carl F III, Andrew John and Robert Leroy all live in Sonoma County.
He will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate National Cemetery where the daughter is buried.
