Funeral for Floyd Thompson, 54, retired cement mason of 821 Sweetser Avenue, Novato, who died Thursday in a local hospital after a long illness, will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
A native of Nebraska, he had moved to Cheyenne, WY, as a boy with his parents. He had lived in Novato for 15 years.
He was a member of the Cement Masons Union Local 355 of San Rafael.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Thompson; 3 daughters, Mrs. Gail Stell, Deborah Thompson, and Leanne Sue Thompson of Novato; 3 brothers, Alfred L. Thompson of Born, Kern County; Clyde R. Thompson of Rohnert Park; and Clifford E. Thompson of Novato; 3 sisters, Helen Leffler, Virginia Gast, and Audrey Baker of Cheyenne, WY, and 4 grandchildren.
Chapel of Funeral Home, Novato, is in charge of arrangements.
