Carter Keith Mullen was born to Clark and Erin (Randall) Mullen. He died at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center(St. Als; Boise, Ada County Idaho). Carter had trouble maintaining his breathing from his birth date. He passed away peacefully, held in his mommy's arms and with his daddy at his side. A memorial service was held Monday, August 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho. A private family burial was held at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell prior to the memorial service. Services were under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel (Caldwell,Idaho).

Carter was survived by his parents, Clark and Erin Mullen of Nampa, Idaho; grandparents Keith and Nancy Randall of Caldwell, and Dann and Jeanine Mullen of Meridian (Ada County, Idaho); Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Dallas, and Cousin Keegan of Twin Falls; Uncles Craig and Jeff Mullen and Aunt April Mullen of Meridian; and many great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents: Marilyn McDonald, Art Randall, and Kenneth Lyle Mullen and Marjorie Jean (Pickett) Mullen.

Carter's family would like to thank the St. Al's NICU (Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit) physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and staff for their relentless efforts, compassion, and loving care.
