Mrs. Joseph Brockhoff, 66, of route 5, Manitowoc, died Sunday evening after a six months illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m., from the home in the town of Kossuth and at 9:30 from the St. Ann church at Francis Creek. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Brockhoff, nee Ida Hessel, was born in Kossuth in 1873 and in 1894 was married to Brockhoff. They located on a farm in Kossuth, now operated by her son, Eugene. Mr. Brockhoff died in 1930.
Survivors are two sons, Paul of route 6, Manitowoc, and Eugene on the homestead; two brothers, Robert of Francis Creek, Charles, city; sister, Mrs. John Steinbrecker of Francis Creek; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Pfeffer funeral home and will be moved to the Brockhoff home Tuesday afternoon.
