PIONEER OF COUNTY DIES AT ROCKWOOD
Another pioneer resident of Manitowoc county was summoned to rest last night when Mrs. Jacob Braun succumbed at her home in Rapids, death being sudden and due to a stroke. Mrs. Braun suffered an attack six weeks ago but had improved until the end came last night.
Deceased was 66 years of age. Her husband died three years ago and during the time having made their home on the same farm.
Mrs. Braun is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Albert Kortens of Rockwood, Mrs. Charles Friemuth, Kellnersville and one son, Joseph who resides on the homestead.
Funeral services will be held Friday from the Albert Kortens home to St. Ann's church at Francis Creek at 10 o'clock.
