James L. Haire, an old and respected resident of New Florence, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clem Hamer, of Blairsville, last Tuesday aged 80 years. Besides the daughter mentioned above, he is survived by the following children: Matthew Haire, of New Florence; James Haire, of Pittsburg; Bert Haire, of Derry; Mrs. Emma Campbell, of Blairsville; Thomas Haire and Mrs. William Shetler, of Bolivar, and Mrs. Minnie Feathers, of Philadelphia. Funeral services were held at Blairsville on Friday afternoon, interment being made in the Blairsville cemetery.
