Cumberland, MD - Barbara Ann Meagher, 75, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at The Lions Center for Rehabilitation and Extended Care.
Born December 20, 1939 in Delaware, Mrs. Meagher was the daughter of the late Harry Claire and Geraldine (Covatta) Claire.
She was also preceded in death by her husband: Charles Wilbert Meagher, Jr.; and a son: Kirk Pringle.
Barbara was a homemaker and a member of the Saint Patrick's Catholic Church.
She is survived by three daughters: Vickie Halford, Baltimore, MD; Debbie Kneisley; Dawne Williams and boyfriend, Marty Bush, all of Cumberland; and her son: Earl Chavis and wife, Pamela, Madison, NC.
Barbara is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Harry, Rick, Jackie, Connie, and Patty; her grandchildren: Tyler Williams, Cassidy Williams, Joshua Cooper, Amanda Halford, Dustin, Brett, and Codey Chavis, Chastity Buckley, Nicole Pringle, and Christopher Pringle; her great grandchildren: Sabrina Comire and Gianna Williams, the apple of her eye; and Robin Brooks, who was like a daughter to her.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Sunday, November 15, 2015, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., and from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, November 16, 2015, at 10:00 A.M.
Interment will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
