(1894 - 1909)
Notes From Kingsbridge:
On Tuesday morning the Angel of Death called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Espin (sic) and took from their tender care their loving son Johnnie, aged fourteen years. Like a flower plucked in its bloom was this life that was fast budding into promising manhood. Johnnie was an amiable child of a quiet disposition and his loss will be keenly felt by his parents, brothers and sisters, also by his school mates with whom he was a favorite.
The funeral took place Friday morning at St. Wencel's Catholic cemetery at Francis Creek. Rev. Braun performing at the last sad rites. Our sincere sympathy is extended to the afflicted one.
