Mrs. Carl Gruber, 74, a resident of the county for over 50 years, died Sunday afternoon at the Holy Family hospital. She had been ill three weeks.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Husar funeral home, Kellnersville, and at 10 o’clock from the St. Ann’s Catholic church, Francis Creek. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Gruber, nee Mary Korba, was born in Bohemia in 1863 and at the age of 20 came to this county, settling in Kossuth. In 1884 she was married to Carl Gruber and they located on the present homestead farm in Kossuth. Mr. Gruber died two years ago.
Survivors are two sons, Anton, Kossuth, Joseph, Rockwood; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Putz and Marie Gruber, both of this city; a brother in bohemia; and six grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home in Kellnersville until the hour of the services Wednesday.
