Wencel Havlichek, 72, retired farmer, died last night at his home in Francis Creek.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Husar Funeral home, Kellnersville, and at 10 o'clock at St. Ann Catholic church, Francis Creek, the Rev. Joseph Rauch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Havlichek was born in Kossuth in 1875 and in 1899 married Miss Ann Stradal. They located on a farm in Kossuth, retiring in 1944 and moving into Francis Creek.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Joseph of this city; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Holschbach of this city, Mrs. Frank Preston of Hartland, Wis.; brother, Michael of Kossuth; and five grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday and the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
