Nancy Moore Loftiss, 80, of Olive Branch, Miss., passed away December 19, 2015 at Baptist Hospice House in Collierville, after a yearlong illness. She was born July 28, 1935 to Neil and Tommie Ott Moore, the last of their nine children. She often said when her parents got it right they stopped having children.

She was a member of Maple United Methodist Church, in Olive Branch, Miss., and a graduate of Southside High School. For the past 25 years, she has been an active volunteer at the Orpheum Theatre and Baptist Hospital in Collierville.

She leaves her husband of 63 years, Charles A. Loftiss, Jr., of Olive Branch, three children, Gayle (Bennie) Holland of Oakland, Tenn., Neil Loftiss of Memphis and LuAnn Bonds of Olive Branch, Miss., two grandchildren, Cindy (Barrett) Webb of Arlington, Tenn., and Robert Bonds of Memphis, three great-grand children, Mitchell and Mason Bonds and Thomas Webb, and a host of friends, fellow volunteers and extended family members. Besides her parents and eight siblings, she was predeceased by her first grandchild, Michael Thomas McEachran, Jr.

The family will receive visitors at 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 22 until service begins at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home located at 2440 Whitten Road in Memphis, followed by a memorial service and interment at Memorial Park. Orpheum and Baptist Volunteers are asked to wear your volunteer uniforms in celebration of her love of volunteer service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
