John Harmon died Monday afternoon at his home in Greenwood of catarrh of head and stomach. The funeral services were held Wednesday. Mr. Harmon formerly lived southeast of Greenwood and had been a hard working farmer most of his life. He was honest and much respected. He was about seventy-five years old and leaves three children – Henry and Milas and Miss Hattie. In politics he was a Democrat and in religion a Methodist.
