MARGARET MASSMAN
(1873 - 1969)
Mrs. Peter Massman, 95 (photo), formerly of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, and who had been a resident of Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, the past seven and one-half years, died there Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Massman, nee Margaret Meyer, was born May 8, 1873, in Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Henry and Anna Meyer. On Oct. 29, 1901, she was married to Peter Massman of St. Anne's and the couple lived near Rockwood. Mr. Massman died in February, 1952. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society.
Survivors include four sons, Walter of Rockwood, and Paul, Leo, and Frank of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Terens of Mishicot and Mrs. William Ziebell of Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. A daughter preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday where at 7:30 p.m. the Rosary will be recited by the Christian Mothers.
