Mrs. Anna Meyer, 79, Passes Away Thursday At Home of Son
Mrs. Anna, Meyer, 79, widow of the late Henry Meyer, passed away yesterday afternoon at the home of her son, John, at Rockwood. She has been an invalid for the past five years.
Burial will take place on Monday morning, the remains leaving the John Meyer home at nine o'clock with services at 9:30 at St. Ann's church at Francis Creek.
The maiden name of the deceased was Ann Zinkel and she was born in the Town of Kossuth and always made her home in the county. She was married to Henry Meyer and they continued to make their home on a farm until the death of Mr. Meyer seventeen years ago.
Four daughters, Mrs. Peter Massman, and Miss Mary at Rockwood, Mrs. Oscar Terens, Mishicot, Mrs. Wm. Ziebell, city; four sons, John of Rockwood, Thomas of Mishicot, Henry of this city, and Walter of Rapids; 28 grand children and ten great grandchildren survive.
