He was born April 28, 1914, in Bellosquardo, Italy, a son of Angelo Macchiaroli and Maria Antoinette Torre Macchiaroli. Mr. Macchiaroli served in the Italian Army during World War II. A member of Immaculate Conception Church, Mr. Macchiaroli was a member of the Eagles and enjoyed being outside, gardening and square dancing. He worked in the mixing department of Washington Bottling for 30 years and retired from Washington Tool and Dye Co.
On October 23, 1939, he married Maria M. Masi, who died April 13, 1998.
Surviving were a son, Angelo Macchiaroli of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Mary A. (Fred) Santoro of Peters Township; five grandchildren, John and Michelle Macchiaroli, Kim O'Connor and Fred M. and Gary Santoro; and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Macchiaroli, and a sister, Allissandrina Capollo.
