Elmer Wagner passed away at home on November 30, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 80 years old.

He was born on March 31, 1935 in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, to the late Violet (Wagner) Geiser.

He married the love of his life, Barbara (Pierce) Wagner on April 7, 1956; they were married 59 years. She survives him.Elmer was a long time resident of Wisconsin and recently relocated to Saint Augustine, Florida.

Elmer was a dedicated family man and greatly loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In his youth he enjoyed hunting and bowling. He enjoyed watching all types of sports and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Elmer also enjoyed playing cards (especially Buck Up and Sheepshead), traveling, and driving; he took a memorable trip to Costa Rica during Thanksgiving 2015 with his family. He was involved with the Lions Club in Plymouth, Wisconsin.

Elmer is survived by his children Jeff (Connie) Wagner of Naples Florida, Cindy (Larry Kaiser) Wagner of Battle Creek Michigan, and Lori Wagner of Saint Augustine Florida; grandchildren Ryan (Corrie) Wagner, Jeremy Wagner-Kaiser, and Rachel Wagner-Kaiser; great-grandchildren Elijah, Benjamin, Noah, and Irys. Elmer is survived by his siblings Robert (Janet) Kress of Chilton, Lucille (Jerry) Hauser of Chilton, Ann Marie (Conrad) Kopitzke of Brillion, George (Nita) Geiser of Chilton, Gerald (Shirley) Geiser of Eagle River, James (Phyllis) Geiser of Chilton, Joseph (Pauline) Geiser of Chilton, Diane (Jim) Kasper of Three Lakes, Rita (Glen) Pingel of Chilton, Liz (Dan) Herms of Random Lake, Peter (Debbie) Geiser of Chilton. He was preceded in death by his mother Violet Geiser and step-father Alois Geiser, brother Tom, brother-in-law Tom, brother-in-law Robert, and special Uncle and Aunt Wilbert and Helen Woelfel.
