Senior Airman Chad A. Shoulak USAF, age 25, of Ward, AR, died Friday, May 2, 2014 in Ward, AR.


Chad was born on October 10, 1988 in Frankfort, Germany, son of Gary Shoulak and Tammy (Wildes) Shoulak. He was a 2007 graduate of Reedsville High School. In 2008 Chad entered the United States Air Force and was currently based at the Little Rock Air Force Base in Little Rock, Arkansas. Chad loved to work on cars and was a fitness enthusiast often being referred to as the "Punisher".


Survivors include his father Gary Shoulak, Whitelaw; his mother, Tammy Shoulak, Manitowoc; his sister, Brianna Shoulak, Manitowoc; his fiancée, Britteney Shipp, Ward, AR; his paternal grandmother, Doris Shoulak, Winter Haven, FL; his maternal grandmother, Carol Bergman, Reedsburg; two aunts and three uncles, Tammie (Paul) Dose, Manitowoc; Donnie Wildes, Cumberland, Gregory (Becky) Bergman, Hillpoint; cousins, other relatives and close friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lloyd Shoulak and his maternal grandfather, Evan Bergman.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday , May 10, 2014 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home in Kellnersville. Sr. Gerri Kraukramer will officiate with burial at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery, Francis Creek with full military honors accorded by the Grand Forks Honor Guard from Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Following the burial, friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon at the Knox's Silver Valley Banquet Hall, 1222 S. Alverno Dr., Manitowoc.


In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Chad's name.
