He was born on July 8, 1904, in Springfield, the son of Charles and Alma Ihlenfeldt Erickson.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Robert Erickson and Charles E. "Todd" Erickson Jr.
Mr. Erickson was employed for many years at Sangamo Electric Co., retiring in 1965.
He was a member of Musician Local 19-675 and American Federation of Musicians.
Surviving are one son, Ronald S. Erickson of St. Louis, Mo.; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alvey and Earl Erickson, both of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Staab Funeral Home, with Dr. Charles Hendricks officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
