Staff Sgt. Michael L. Deason, 28, of Farmington, Mo.; assigned to 3rd Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky.; died Aug. 31 of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations in War, Iraq. Survivors include, his wife, Tiffany N. 'Aldridge' Deason, 1 son, Jayden Deason, 1 daughter, Kayler Deason, his mother, Terry Galloway, all of Farmington, his father & Stepmother, David & Cindy Deason, of Desloge, sister, Ashley Deason, of Desloge, Linda 'Willis' Abbott, of Terre du Lac; brother, Ryan Galloway, of Farmington, 2 nieces, Caroline & Kelsi Abbott, nephew, Karsten Abbott. Also, his step grandparents, Arthur & Mabel Wofford, of Farmington, many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, and a Grandmother in Germany.
