Quirin Wallau, 89, of 2303 S. 35th St., Manitowoc, died Friday at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John M. Haen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Wallau was born Dec. 11, 1881, at Francis Creek, son of the late Quirin and Barbara Fierst Wallau. He married Emma Wanek in 1906 and she preceded him in death in 1932. He then married Anastasia Schlies in 1942 at Francis Creek. She preceded him in death in 1956. Mr. Wallau owned and operated a farm at Francis Creek until his retirement in 1958 when he moved to Manitowoc.

Survivors include a son, Leonard, of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Alice) Ahrens, of Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where a memorial service will be at 8 p.m.
