Ashley P. Zeman, age 7, of 503 Forest Home Drive, Francis Creek, died Tuesday May 29, 2001 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, after a courageous one year battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2001 at the Lambert Funeral Home in Mishicot. Burial will take place in St. Anne Parish Cemetery in Francis Creek.
Ashley was born Sept. 11, 1993, in Manitowoc to Michael and Patricia Gove Zeman. She completed her kindergarten year at Otto H. Schultz Elementary School in Mishicot. Ashley loved attending school and enjoyed fishing and camping.
She is survived by her mother Patricia Zeman, and Patricia’s fiancé Thomas Schamburek, of Francis Creek. Her father Michael Zeman, of Florida. One sister Rebecca Zeman, at home, and one brother Devin Schamburek, at home. Ashley is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Warren and Marian Gove, of Maribel, her paternal grandpa Kenneth Zeman and a special grandma, Angela Uttendoffer, of Two Rivers. Paternal grandma and a special grandpa, Kathleen and David Roscoe, of Manitowoc. One great-grandmother, Ethel Gagner, of Manitowoc. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and may special friends.
Relatives and friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Lambert Funeral Home in Mishicot. There will be a 7 p.m. wake service. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home until the time of service a 10 a.m.
Ashley’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Jon Brandt and his entire staff, and to the entire staff of St. Vincent Hospital especially the 10th floor, for their love, special care, and concern’s shown to Ashley and our family during Ashley’s illness.
