Joseph W. Zigmunt, 89 (photo), of 1014 S. 12th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 9:45 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. A cousin, the Rev. Leo Przybilski, will officiate with burial in St. Anne Cemetery, Francis Creek.
Mr. Zigmunt was born Aug. 21, 1885, at Manitowoc, son of the late Joseph and Anastasia Petroski Zigmunt. He married Emma Roubal Aug. 25, 1910, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. He was employed at American Seed Co. of Manitowoc for many years and also owned and operated a farm at Francis Creek since 1920. Mr. and Mrs. Zigmunt moved to Manitowoc in 1956. Mrs. Zigmunt preceded him in death June 11, 1957.
Survivors include two sons, Ted of Manitowoc and Melvin of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; four daughters, Mrs. W.A. (Evelyn) Rauch, of Manitowoc, Mrs. John (Mildred) Martin of Sheboygan, Mrs. Homer (Mary Ann) Evenson, of Torrance, Calif., Mrs. Barbara Jean Siebols, of Mundelein, Ill., a sister, Mrs. Howard (Nellie) Mohr, of Downey, Calif., 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Two
sons, three brothers, four sisters, and a grandson preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday where a wake memorial prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. by Daughters of Isabella and friends.
