Mr. Roach had been a resident of Edgemont since 1971. He was a retired carpenter with the maintenance department of the University of Illinois, and he was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Roach was a member of Holiday Hills United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Cyrus E. Roach; his parents; three brothers; and three sisters. Mr. Roach is survived by his wife, Kathryn (Alexander) Roach of Edgemont; one son, John P. Roach of Springdale; two daughters, C. Ann Roach of Greers Ferry and Nancy Douglas of Ashville, North Carolina; and six grandchildren. Mr. Roach is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
Visitation will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Woodland Memorial Park Chapel from 4:00-7:00 p.m. The family request that memorials be sent to the Greers Ferry Emergency Fund, P. O. Box 1355, Greers Ferry, AR 72067. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
