Frank Caspary dies; retired truck driver
Frank Caspary, 52, of 3860 Dunbar Ave., died of cancer Sunday afternoon at his home.
Mr. Caspary was born Dec. 9, 1932, in Youngstown, a son of Louis and Linnie Schultz (sic) Caspary, living here all his life. He was a truck driver for the Packaging Corp. of America for 22 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of Wickliffe United Presbyterian Church, the Teamsters Local 377, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Hope Club of the Easter Seals Society and the American Legion 607. He was a CB radio enthusiast and was known as "Boss Man." He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Besides his wife, the former Dolores J Slater, whom he married June 7, 1952, he leaves a son, a daughter, two brothers, three sisters, and two grandchildren. Four brothers, Ralph, Arthur, Kenneth and Fleet, are deceased.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the church. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home and an hour prior to services in the church.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to the Hospice of Youngstown or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
