Brenda Kay Mills departed this life on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 being 52 years and 5 months of age. She was born on July 8, 1963 in Knox County to the late Victor and Viola Mills.

She is also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Ray Mills and two sisters: Doris Smith and Deloris Mills.

Brenda will always be remembered as a loving caregiver. In her spare time Brenda really loved shopping and spending time with her family. She was a member of Mills Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her two brothers: Victor Mills, Jr. and Denver Mills; one sister: Beatrice Mills and a host of nephews, nieces and other family and friends.

The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2PM at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herman Mills, Rev. Charles Carnes and Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery with Michael Ward, Tommy Ray McCulley, Keith Broughton, Colonel Smith, Earnest Mills, and Paul Mills serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Tri County Hospice. The Family will receive friends from 6PM until 9PM on Friday, December 11, 2015 and on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 10AM until 9PM at Hampton Funeral Home.
