Mrs. Bogan was born Dec 13, 1912 in New Burlington, to Joseph and Bertha Mae Shambaugh. She was a graduate of Harveysburg High School, and attended Cleveland Business College. She was a cook at the Golden Lamb, in Lebanon, for 15 years, and a volunteer cook at the Lebanon Senior Citizen's Center. She was a former member of the Clarksville Baptist Church, Where she served as pianist. She also performed with Grandma Sadie's Band at the Lebanon Honey Festival.
She is survived by five sons, James Bogan, Dean Bogan, Ronald Bogan, Gail Boogan, Keith Bogan; four daughters, Bebe Sue Gentler, Delilah Anderson, Chloe Collins, Peggy Ratliff; brother, Howard Shambaugh; three sisters, Ella Gardner, Ernestine Moore, Rachel Parker; 42 grandchildren; and 36 great grandchildren.
A son, Jackie L. Bogan, brother; and three sisters, are deceased.
Burial Wednesday, in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Warren County.
