Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN with Father Ken Popp officiating. Burial is in the St. Michael's Parish Cemetery in Buckman, MN.
A visitation was held from 9-10:30 A.M. on Tuesday at St, Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN. Arrangements are with Shelley-Virnig Funeral Chapel in Pierz, MN
Joan was born on December 14, 1948, in Little Falls, MN to the late Ewald and Delphine Gall.
She grew up in Buckman, MN and graduated from Pierz Memorial high school in 1967. After graduation, Joan moved to Minneapolis where she got a job in the insurance industry. A couple of years later she moved to Oahu, HI where she was employed by Lloyds of London for many years. Joan also worked for H & R Block during tax season. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Honolulu, HI where she sang in the choir and helped count money. The greatest joy in Joan's life was arranging the family get togethers. In 2003, Joan moved back to Pierz to be closer to her family. Her eccentric personality and wonderful spirit will be missed by her loving family. Joan was a member of St. Michael Church in Buckman and will be dearly missed by her many friends at Kamnic Lane Apartments.
Joan is survived by mother, Delphine Gall of Pierz, MN; siblings, Stephen (Diane) Gall of Taylors Falls, MN, Kathleen Przybilla of Pierz, MN, Margaret Sudmeyer of Pierz, MN, Eileen (Ken) Kloss of Buckman, MN, Joel (Marlys) Gall of Coolum Beach, Australia, Mary (Dennis) Burggraff of Owatonna, MN, Gary (Cathy) Gall of Little Falls, MN and Annette (R.D.) Lawton of St. Paul, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
Joan was preceded in death by father, Ewald Gall and brother-in-law, Donald Przybilla.
