Sara was the daughter of Oliver (Buddy) Ferrell & Evelyn Ferrell of Brownsville, Tennesse. The day after Christmas December 26, 1959; her Grandmother, Hester Ferrell, & Sara were crossing the highway to the family's store (Ferrell's Grocery store) on highway 76 near Brownsville, Tennessee when a drunk driver appeared topping the hill @ a fast rate of speed & successfully swerved to miss Mrs. Hester Ferrell; but hit Sara. He stated that he never saw the little girl, Sara. She was killed instantly.
