Patricia's life was short she was probably born with some sort of birth defect possibly something to do with her heart. She was taken by her mother, Iona, to Albertina Kerr with a feeding issue. Patricia was there a couple of weeks, then taken to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland where about eight days later she lost her battle with pneumonia and any other health issue she had courageously fought since birth. She is buried near her mother Iona in Lincoln Memorial Park Multnomah Co. Portland OR. She joins a brother, Curtis Benjamin Pierce buried in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Lane county Oregon.
