Prior to her marriage to Elisha Boothe she had a son by Charles S Chisom or Chisson. Their son was Byron Chisom who was born in 1843 Prattsburgh and died 18 Oct 1913 Bellingham, WA. (FAG 7381122). His death certificate gives his parents as "Chas S Chisom" and "Harriet Miles." (The "Miles" is a typo) [Source: www.familysearch.org, Washington Death Certificates, 1907-1960] Harriet's mother was Martha Grimes (1785-29 Dec 1871) . There doesn't seem to be a memorial for Martha on findagrave. The one for her husband Rev Noah Niles,MD, does mention Martha but not his first wife Lydia Campbell but that is another update for someone else. to make.
