Patrick Thomas A'Hearn was born March 30, 1947 in Waukon to Norbert and Theresa (Connor) A'Hearn. Patrick graduated from St. Patrick High School in Waukon and then attended the University of Wisconsin until he entered the service from 1966 until 1968.
He was employed at Wilson Packing Plant in Cedar Rapids, during which time he married Brenda Johnson in July of 1977. They were later divorced.
Over the years, he worked as a salesman selling vacuums, frozen fish and aerial farm photos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert and Theresa A'Hearn.
Services
Pat A'Hearn, age 68, of Waukon passed away December 7, 2015 at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City after a short illness. Services will be held Saturday, July 16 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon.
Friends and family will be gathering at 9 a.m. at the church with services to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, rural Waukon.
