She was an active member of The Town Club, a sustaining member of The Junior League and especially enjoyed her ski club, Hueligle Heigel. She was a 44 year resident of La Jolla and thoroughly enjoyed her activities as a full time real estate agent right up to her death.
She was a true lady and known for her good humor, integrity and positive attitude. She was a member of the La Jolla Presbyterian Church, The La Jolla Historical Society, The World Affairs Council, La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club and The La Jolla Board of Realtors.
Mary Jane will be missed by her many friends, who remember that she never gave up.
She has been buried next to her mother, Virginia Gross, at El Camino Cemetery. Memorial to be held at 1pm on Thursday, Sept 18, 2003 at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.
