Dee Peaslee, 64, a long time Cashmere resident, died Saturday afternoon in a Wenatchee hospital. Mrs. Peaslee was born July 26, 1913, in Spokane and was raised and attended school then. She moved to Salt Lake City and then to Seattle in 1941 when she was employed with Boeing during World War II.

On August 3, 1946, she was married to Cecil M. Peaslee in Seattle. They moved to Cashmere in 1950.
She was member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Spokane. Surviving are her husband, Cecil of Cashmere; one daughter, Ruth Kohl, of Edmonds; one son, Chris, of Beaverton, Ore.; one brother, Lawrence Abitz, Seattle; one sister, Martha Hunton, Colfax; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in the Braun Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Hoem officiating. Burial took place in the Cashmere Cemetery.
