Judy was a 1958 graduate of Caro High School, and went on to Fort Wayne Bible College, graduating with a degree in piano performance in 1962, then taught at Luster Christian Academy in Montana from 1962-1963, and Washington School of Music from 1963-1964.
She was united in marriage with Robert Titus in 1966, and he survives her. For more than forty-nine years, Judy has given private lessons in piano and voice, along with directing various music ministries in several local churches including choirs, cantatas, and instrumental groups. She also directed Satisfaction for Youth for Christ and then began her own ministry, His Witness.
Judy started the music program at Deford Christian Academy and taught there for approximately two years, traveled to Europe on four mission trips, one with YFC Resurrection singers and three with New Perspective Music Ministry, and accompanied Caro choir concerts and band solo and ensemble for years.
She also worked with migrant workers teaching music and Bible studies with the children, and did mid-week children's music at Colwood United Brethren Church and taught Sunday School.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of forty-nine years, Robert Titus of Caro; two children, Janelle Titus of Caro, Timothy & Angela Titus of Caro; her grandchildren, Zachary and Emily; and one brother and his wife, Jerry & Jane Montei of Caro.
Funeral services were held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Caro First Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Wigand officiating. Burial followed at Ellington Township Cemetery.
