Robert W. (Bobby) Collins, 65, of Gainesville passed away on October 3, 2010 at Shands Hospital. He was born in Gainesville, FL on July 10, 1945 and graduated from Gainesville High School. He attended the University of Florida and was an avid Gator fan. Bobby liked attending and watching all Gator Sporting events, especially football. He was one of the early members of the Fightin' Gator Touchdown Club when it was formed in the 1970's. He and his father owned and operated the University Newstand in downtown Gainesville for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. and Leila B. Collins. He is survived by sisters, Dafine Collins of Jacksonville and Virginia Robinson of Gainesville and several nieces and nephews.
