He was born Jan. 27, 1941, in Parkersburg, W.Va., son of the late David and Addie Davis Jackson.
Roscoe was a member of Coolville Masonic Lodge 337 F&AM and Evangelical Methodist Church. He retired from Walker Wire Mold.
He is survived by a daughter, Kim and Dave Putman; a son, Keith Jackson; his grandchildren, Michael, Lacey, Bryan, Kayla and Kevin; great grandchildren, Kaylon, Jeanna, Bryson, Lydia, Rayland, Leigha, Grayson and Allen; four brothers, Jerry, Randall, Roy and Gary Jackson; three sisters, Mary Coe, Velda Farney and Marjorie Curry; several nieces and nephews; and his dogs, Salsa and Ginger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, Ohio, with Rick Bourne and Ed Beatty officiating. Burial will follow in Stewart Cemetery in Hockingport. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 6-8 p.m.
