Johannes Fredrick Wohler, age 87, passed away peacefully with family members present to comfort him, May 12, 2002 in the Alta View Hospital Sandy, Utah.
He was born May 27, 1914 in Rotterdam, Netherlands to Leedert and Maria Martina DeRoo Wohler.
He married Jacoba ( Coby ) Botbil, September 29, 1939 in the Netherlands. She passed away Feb. 2, 1998.
He had and extraordinary love for life, traveling, cruising and was adventurous. Most recently he went snorkeling in the Carribean.
Survived by his children, Leo A. (Sheri) Wohler, Mary Larsen and John Wohler, grandchildren, Melissa (Randy) Olsen, Larry Larsen, Marlene (Merlin) Hawkes, Aimee' Lynn Wohler, Angela Michelle Bach and Jessica Marie Bach; great-grandchildren, Marlee Olsen, Tyler Olsen, Meredith Hawkes and Joe Hawkes, Brother, Huibert Wohler; Nephew, Eddie Wholer, and many close friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2002 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S. 1950 E. Friends may call at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary from 12-1 p.m. prior to the services.
