Enrico Casarini was my maternal grandfather. Age 81, of Migliarina, frazione of Carpi (MO), Emilia-Romagna, he suddenly passed away due to a heart attack on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Bernadino Ramazzini Hospital, Carpi. Born on Saturday, May 12, 1934 in Carpi, he was the son of the late Lorenzo Casarini and Ines Sgarbi. He married Carmen Marani on October 20, 1962 in Migliarina, frazione of Carpi. He loved going to the Arci bar in Migliarina with his friends. He supported Juventus Football Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Fernando.
Survived by wife Carmen; daughter Paola (Marco), grandson Luca; sister Anna (Enzo); nephew Maurizio; niece Brunella; cousins; all families and friends.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Budrione Church, Carpi. Mass was celebrated by Don Andrzej Wiska; interment at Sassuolo New Cemetery; arrangements were by Onoranze Funebri Elide, Carpi-Novi di Modena (MO).
