Izetta Belle Chisman
Services for Izetta Belle Chisman, 2500 E. Boulder, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Village Seven Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Bernie Kuipers and William Leonard officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the Evergreen Funeral Home, Fountain and Union boulevards, noon today through 9 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Chisman died Saturday of cancer in a Colorado Springs hospital. She was 77. Mrs. Chisman was born Nov. 18, 1904, in Amo, and had been a lifetime resident of El Paso County. She and her husband George Harold Chisman had owned Chisman's Trailer Sales. Mrs. Chisman was married Jan. 2. 1926, in Colorado Springs. She was a member of the Vilage Seven Presbyterian Church, Daughters of the Nile and the Rebecca Lodge. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1976. Survivors include two sons, George H. Chrisman Jr. of Buena Vista and Keith Edward Chrisman of Colorado Springs; three daughters, Dorothy Hollandsworth and Roberta Morphis both of Colorado Springs, and Shirley Platt of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two brothers, John Harding of Colorado Springs and Martin Harding of Ellicott; and a sister, Leona Book of Drennen. The family requests memorials in the form of donations to Village Seven Presbyterian Church.
