Sept. 22 at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. She was of the
Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses L. Wilson;
parents, Alvis and Lanie McGhee Hembree; brothers, James and Dewey Hembree. She is
survived by her daughters, Mary Adams of Caryville, Betty Jean Beech and
husband, Roy of Fla, Juanita Cockron and husband, Buster of Cleveland, OH; son,
Ulysses L. Wilson, Jr. and wife, Priscilla of Fla; 12 grandchildren, 22 great
grandchildren and one great grandchild; sisters, Mabel Torres, Della Jobe and
Jean Jarvis, all of Caryville; brothers, Charles and Fred Hembree, both of PA;
several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral
services were held Sept. 25 at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff
Hawkins officiating. Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
