David Christopher "Chris" Dunn was born in Houston, TX, May 27, 1969 and passed in Houston, TX, December 23, 2015.

Chris graduated from from South Houston High School in 1988.

Chris is an American hero, who has served his community and the nation as an EMT, a police dispatcher, a Harris County Sheriff's deputy, and a DHS-TSA Supervisor. Chris even fought Somali pirates as part of a private security team.

Chris' viewing will be Sunday, January 3rd from 4p-5p for family, and 5p-8p for friends and anyone else that would like to say farewell.

The funeral will be on Monday, January 4th at 1230p. The viewing and service will be held at the South Park Funeral Home at 1310 N. Main Street in Pearland, TX. Pastor Jason Sciscoe presiding and Rev. David M. Krebs delivering the eulogy.

Burial to follow in South Park Cemetery.

Chris is survived by mother Evelyn Kelly and father & step-mother David & Becky Dunn, siblings Holly Andrews Gomez, Cory McClellan, Brittney Kelly-Strickler, Laura Dunn Jones, and Leah Dunn. As well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
