Paul Douglas Hokenstad of Griswold, died November 15, 2011 at the Cass County Hospice Center. Paul was born at Worthington, Minnesota on April 6, 1939, the son of Walter and Ruby Hokenstad. He attended college at Grinnell College of Grinnell and University of Wyoming at Laramie, Wyoming. Paul worked at Lockheed in California, and in Wyoming for the Office of the State Archeologist.
Paul is survived by his children Neil Hokenstad of Sonoma, California, Pete Hokenstad of Griswold, Anne Hokenstad and partner Bart Wright of Denver, Colorado and former wife Sky Williams of Gilroy, California. Also surviving are a brother John and sister-in-law, Marge Hokenstad of Greenbrae, California, his niece Christin Hokenstad of San Francisco, California and many loved friends and extended family.
Paul was a wonderful father, son, brother and friend. He will be missed by many.
Services will be held Saturday, November 26, at noon at the Griswold United Methodist Church. A visitation with family and community will be held prior to service from 11 a.m. to noon with luncheon to follow. Reverend Dwight Grosvenor will officiate.
Family requests memorials be sent to Cass County Hospice Center or your local hospice.
