Born in Chattaroy, W.Va., Aug. 17, 1933, daughter of the late Lemul W. and Virginia Maynard Rife, at one time she was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Liverpool.
Having lived most of her life in the area, she along with her husband owned and operated the Valley Drive-In on state Route 39, and for the past 15 years she had been employed at Wal-Mart working mostly in the jewelry department.
Her husband, Harry E. "Gene" Conrad, whom she married June 25, 1977, survives at home.
Six sons, William S. Henthorn and his wife, Tina, Robert A. Henthorn and his wife, Carol, all of Wellsville, Chris M. Conrad and his wife, Vickie, of Redland, Calif., Steven W. Conrad and his wife, Cathy, of Loudonville, Ohio, David E. Conrad and his wife, Terry, of Wellsville, and Kenneth J. Conrad of Phoenix, survive.
There are 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Louise Wendelken of Parkersburg, W.Va., Frances Dingess and her husband, Cain, of Irondale and Kathy DaLonzo and her husband, John, of Summitville, and two brothers, James Rife of Florida and David Rife, and his wife, Sherry, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., also survive.
A sister, Tina Trevor, preceded her in death.
Friends may call Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home, where the family will be present from noon to 8 p.m.
Pastor Rob Merki of the First Church of the Nazarene of East Liverpool will conduct services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highlandtown Cemetery.
