Lois Herzig Hicks, 97, of Jasper, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, at her residence.
Hicks was preceded in death by her husband, Oather Hicks; parents, Willie Emil and Maude Key Herzig; siblings, Vera Fike, Emil Herzig, Nell Wade, Louise Herzig, William Herzig, Lincoln Herzig and Robert Herzig; grandparents, Julius Emil and Wilhelmine Gopel Herzig and Samuel and Berthenia Nelson Key; and in-laws, A.M. and Thursey Ryan Hicks.
Lois Herzig Hicks was a charter member of Sixth Ave. Church of Christ. Our many thanks to Southeast Hospice for the wonderful and loving care shown to our mother during her illness and Sixth Ave. Church of Christ Sisterhood of Traveling Dishes for all the wonderful food.
