MINNEAPOLIS—Tony Scott Alford, 36, of 2040 First Street South, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006.

Mr. Alford was born in Loris, the son of the late Leamon J. Alford and Essie Rabon Alford.

A former resident of the Loris area, he attended Loris High School. Mr. Alford attended Calvary Baptist Church in Aynor.

He moved to Minnesota in 1991 and went on to complete his studies, receiving his diploma from Armstrong High School in Minnesota.

Mr. Alford was predeceased by his stepfather, Harmon Todd; and two brothers, Leamon Earl Alford and Johnny Archie Alford.

He is survived by three brothers, Bobby Lee Alford and his wife, Linda, of Conway, Larry Gene Alford of Conway and Robert Harold Alford of North Charleston; two nieces, Bobbie Lynn Alford Skipper and her husband, Brian, of Aynor and Lorie Lynn Alford of Conway; three nephews, Larry Heath Alford and his wife, Tonya, of Conway, Robert Heath Alford of Conway and Christopher Erik Alford and his wife, Starr, of Aynor; a special sister-in-law, Wanda F. Rabon of Aynor; three great-nieces and two great-nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Goldfinch Conway Chapel.... Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery....
