Marlyn had a lifelong love of farming having grown up on the family dairy farm north of Lindstrom and continuing on the same farm upon his graduation from High School. Marlyn and Nelda took over operation of the farm after their marriage and raised their family there. When their son Alan took over the operation of the farm in 1992 Marlyn and Nelda retired and moved to Lindstrom. Marlyn loved to help out on the farm until his health prevented him from doing so.
He is survived by his wife, Nelda; sons, Kevin of Plymouth, Loren (Lisa) of Centerville and Alan (Sue) of Lindstrom; four grandchildren, Tyler, Jenna, Timothy and Joseph and one great grandchild, Aria. He is also survived by his sister, Jann Abrahamson of Bloomington and brother Ronald of Cedar Falls, IA. He is preceded in death by his parents.
