Death Ends Long Wedded Life of Puyallup Woman
Mrs. Mary E. Edgerton
Puyallup. April 8--Death this morning ended the career of Mrs. Mary E. Edgerton, 83, mother of George W. Edgerton, postmaster of Puyallup, and wife of John E. [W.] Edgerton.
Mr. and Mrs. Edgerton on February 26 of this year celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. They had lived in Puyallup for five years and prior to that had lived for 60 years in Nebraska.
Surviving relatives besides the husband and son named are two other sons L. F. [Lafe] Edgerton of Kansas and Clyde Edgerton of Idaho, and four daughters, Mrs. Sadie Plummer of Puyallup with whom Mr. & Mrs. Edgerton are living, and Mrs. Eleanor [Elnora] Jacobs, both of Puyallup; Mrs. M. R. [C. E.] Miser of Colorado, and Mrs. Eda [Eva] D. Dyers [Byers] of Kansas.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 o'clock at the Plummer home, with interment in the Woodbine Cemetery.
